This was my favorite project thus far. I saw a similar picture that inspired me to do this one. I started by painting the background with different hues of blue, then drew the letters out in pencil and painted them in with white. I then painted the sun and the sides of the canvas. I really love the bible verse I chose. My least favorite thing about this painting is the sun. I could have done the rays better. Overall, it is still favorite project I've done.

Under water Watercolor
I chose to do a underwater theme because I really enjoy using bright colors to create the look of under the sea creatures. First, I sketched my picture, then I drew it out with water color pencils and used water and a brush to even out the color and give it the water color look. I really liked the coral and the color I used for it. I didn't like the way the color of the background turned out. It was supposed to be darker, but overall I am very pleased with the outcome!

Watercolor Whale
For this project I chose to draw a whale tail with water color. I used watercolor pencils to draw triangles to form the shapes into one big shape. Starting with shades of green and blues then slowly adding in pink, purples, and oranges. I used water, watercolor pencils, and a small fine point paintbrush.
Bullying Collage
The theme for this project was "Sticks and Stones" which was for bullying awareness. I chose to do a collage with a drawing. I started drawing actual sticks and stones with colored pencils, then I cut out magazine letters for the qoute over the drawing. I finished it off by matting it.

Watercolor Drawing
I love, love, LOVE flowers! Especially in old jars. That's what inspired me to do this project. I started with a regular piece of paper and used watercolor pencils to draw out my design. Drawing the lighter colors first, then working my way to the darker ones. I used a paintbrush to go over it with water, ofcourse. I love the country feel about this artwork.

"Do the face" drawing
My sister and I have always been known by my family to do "the face". Yes, its pretty bizarre, but thats what makes it different! I chose to draw it as one of my projects. I had a picture of us so I used that as my guide to draw it, throughout the entire picture I used a #2 pencil.
3-D "Love of the world" Globe
This project was very fun to do! The theme of this was "love". I have always had a love for traveling, even though I have not traveled to many places, I knew I could create a project of something that I loved about each place. I paper machéd a plastic ball for my globe, then painted it so it began to actually look like a globe. I then added the things I loved about each place. For example, France was the Eiffel tower, and Mexico was the shopping. To top it off I added quotes about traveling in Sharpie. For the base I painted a small canvas and attached it to the globe with push pins which were hot glued on. :)
